AI proposals and autonomy levels
Why agents and the Copilot only make proposals, what levels L0–L3 mean and how to accept, reject or undo proposals.

The principle
No agent – and not the Copilot either – writes directly to your data. They create proposals. An autonomy policy (settings → autonomy levels) defines per agent and action what happens with them.
| Level | What you see | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| L0 – Observe | nothing (log only, status expired) | – |
| L1 – Suggest | An open card in AI proposals, in the inbox and in the order’s AI tab | Review, then edit & accept, accept or reject |
| L2 – Approve | like L1; the AI has prepared everything | One click to accept |
| L3 – Automatic | Card marked as auto-executed + notification to owners/admins/dispatchers | Undo if needed |
Default levels
- L2: create order, send a request for information, quote, create invoice, approve incoming invoice, customs assessment, delay notification.
- L3: classifying emails/documents, linking documents, ETA updates, escalation.
- L1: everything else, e.g. changing a price, assigning a tour, requesting a carrier, replying to an email, cancelling.
Nota: If confidence is below the configured minimum confidence, or a proposal violates a price or country limit, it is automatically downgraded to L1. You will see this as a “policy: …” risk on the card.
The AI proposals page
Tiles for open, auto-executed today, automation rate and total; filters by status, agent and action. Each card shows title, status, agent, action, level, a confidence bar (green ≥ 85 % high, yellow ≥ 60 % medium, red low), the reasoning, risks and a summary. For order updates you see a current/proposed comparison.
- Accept · edit & accept (your corrected values are executed – the agents learn from them) · reject (with a comment) · undo · open result.
- Several cards at once: select all open proposals, then accept the selection.
- Open proposals expire after 72 hours (status expired).
- If an automatic execution fails, the proposal stays open with the risk “auto-execution failed” and you receive a notification.
Undo
Undo is only available for executed proposals that support rollback. It restores the previous state – e.g. the old price, the tour dissolved again, a document link removed, a created order cancelled.
Nota: Sent emails and confirmed carrier assignments cannot be recalled. That is why these actions stay on L1 by default.
Proposals in orders and on the dispatch board
In an order’s AI tab and in the AI proposal dialog of the dispatch board the buttons are called approve/reject, and the content can be edited as JSON via the changes field. The effect is the same.
