Scope
This statement applies to the public LogCon website and to the LogCon web application: the dispatcher workspace behind the login, the customer portal, the carrier portal and the driver view, in the browser and as an installed web app.
It does not cover content that does not come from us, such as documents uploaded by customers, incoming e-mails with their attachments and map material from third parties.
Compliance status
The benchmark is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The website and the application are partially compliant with these requirements: so far only some of the pages have been tested, and the limitations listed below apply.
This statement is based on a self-assessment, not on a review by an independent body. We publish it regardless of whether a legal obligation to do so applies to LogCon as software for businesses.
What is tested
These checks run automatically during development:
- Colour contrast: a test calculates from the colour values of the interface that the defined pairs of text and surface colour reach the WCAG 2.2 AA contrast values in light and dark appearance.
- Application overview: the start page after sign-in is tested with navigation, top bar and opened assistant using the axe-core testing tool against the rules for WCAG 2.2 A and AA, in light and dark appearance. Serious and critical findings count as failures.
- Keyboard: tests check in the application frame that the “Skip to content” link is the first stop, that the search including its clear button can be operated by keyboard, and that the assistant closes with the Escape key and focus returns to the button that opened it.
Automated checks find only some of the possible barriers. Testing with screen readers and other assistive technology by people is not part of this assessment.
Measures in place
These measures are built into the interface but have not been verified on every single page:
- “Skip to content” link on the website and in the dispatcher workspace
- Visible focus when using the keyboard
- Light and dark appearance
- Less motion when your system requests reduced motion
- Language declared per page; the interface is available in 18 languages
Known limitations
- So far only the application overview is tested automatically. All other pages have not been tested systematically, including order entry, inbox, billing, customer portal, carrier portal, driver view and the public website.
- Maps with vehicle positions and tours are not accessible to screen readers and have not been tested.
- Dispatching by drag and drop works with mouse or touch only, not with the keyboard.
- Charts do not have a complete text alternative.
- PDF documents generated by the application, such as consignment notes, invoices and transport orders, contain no structure tags and can be read by screen readers only to a limited extent.
- Signing on the screen requires drawing with a finger, pen or mouse.
- The customer portal, the carrier portal and the driver view do not have a “Skip to content” link yet.
- This statement is available in German and English; in the other languages of the interface it appears in English.
