Working through stops: arrival, proof, departure
Report arrival, check the load, book pallets, capture proof of delivery with photo and signature, and report damage or failed deliveries.
Tour details
The tour details show the vehicle, start, the dispatcher’s notes and the stops. The next open stop is highlighted; a red time window means it has been exceeded. Each stop has navigation (opens your maps app), call, report arrival and report departure. Tap the stop for the full workflow.
Workflow at a stop
- Arrival: report arrival. Your GPS position is sent along – without GPS you are told the arrival was reported without a position.
- Loading/unloading: tick that the quantity has been checked and is complete. For a pallet exchange, enter pallets handed over and taken back and book them (the difference goes to the customer’s pallet account) – or choose no pallet exchange.
- Proof of delivery (required for deliveries, optional for pickups): take a photo (delivery note/goods, several photos possible). For deliveries also capture the recipient’s signature: enter the name, have them sign, save the signature.
- Departure: optionally add a note, then report departure and confirm. Without a proof of delivery the app warns you that none has been captured yet – you can still depart.
Remarque: Afterwards you see “stop done” and the next stop, or a message that all stops are done. With the last delivery stop the order becomes delivered for the dispatcher, and the proof is stored with the transport records.
Reporting damage
Your dispatcher is notified. The report is stored as a damage report on the order and added to the departure note.
- Tap report damage.
- Take a photo of the damage.
- Fill in the description (required): what is damaged and how many units?
- Send the damage report.
Failed delivery
- Tap the red failed-delivery button.
- Choose the reason: recipient not present, delivery refused, site closed, wrong address, goods damaged or other.
- Add details and mark the stop as failed.
Remarque: The stop becomes failed and your dispatcher sees the exception.
